Running a race is a journey.

A challenge, a feat. Everyone has to start somewhere. You can’t start in the middle, or right at the end. You have to start right on the starting line. Much the same with Events, whether they are corporate functions, milestone parties, celebrations or weddings, you’ve got to start right at the beginning.

I am Clarinda Cook, the owner of The Starting Line. I was born in New Zealand, moved to Australia quite young, and eventually ended up in Perth in 2013. My interests changed constantly during my life, but one thing was constant. I was a planner. Constantly making lists, getting the satisfaction when I ticked them off and creating challenges for myself so that I had goals to work towards.

So here I am now with the creation of The Starting Line and the dream of working directly with amazing people to help them run the race and reach the crown.
